Overview
The Growatt SPE 8000-12000 ES is a hybrid solar inverter family spanning 6kW to 12kW, combining an MPPT solar charge controller, inverter, and battery management in one unit.
It reaches up to 96.5% peak efficiency through dual MPPT trackers, and operates on a 48V battery system (lithium and lead-acid chemistries supported). Dual outputs allow smart load management, and the unit supports grid-tied peak-shaving operation. Multiple units can be paralleled for expansion up to 108kW.
Indoor installation only. This unit is rated IP20, which is not weatherproof — it must be installed in a sheltered, indoor location. Do not install it outdoors or anywhere exposed to rain, dust, or direct weather.
